We made it to New Castle!

Back home for the weekend and we loaded up this cute little trailer...

Said "Bye Bye" to Lizzie...

And We're OFF to Pennsylvania!

We didn't stop for much.  We were in such a hurry that we didn't even take any pictures at Ernie's.  Sorry about that!

We stopped for the night at the Country Inn and Suites in Rolla, Missouri.  They had this beautiful lobby that we had to take a couple of pictures!

And then, it was back on the road.

We actually made it in 5 days, 2500+ miles and arrived here in New Castle, Delaware.  The trip was as perfect as you could want.  A little fog one morning, and rainy another day, but the car ran perfectly, if you asked for any more you would be really ungrateful.

With an apartment on the ground floor it's just very nice.

More pictures to come.

More MTC pictures!

Brother Harmer

These two were our trainers in the MTC.  They really have a strong testimony, and taught us some of the basics of the work we will be doing.
Brother Harmer was mild-mannered, like Superman, but not scary.  He took his job seriously and really tried to help us.

Sister Rodriguez
Sister Rodriguez was a real fireball.  She was excited about missionary work and exciting to be with.  There was never a dull moment when she was around.

Elder and Sister Burnett
There were two other couples in our class.

Elder and Sister Collier

Elder and Sister Anderson
And another pair of couples that we worked with.

Elder and Sister Parish

Our Class
And, of course, the inevitable class picture.
All in all, the MTC experience was great!

The Car Is Packed, And We Are Ready To Go!
We received a call to serve in the Pennsylvania Philadelphis Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  It has been a very special opportunity for us.

The Main Entrance to the MTC awaits us!
We entered the Missionary Training Center on February 7th for 5 days.

The Reception Area at the MTC is Very Spacious.
Because of the remodeling of the senior missionary housing we were assigned to stay at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Provo.  That sure wasn't hard duty!

The Halls are Very Long!
The only thing was we had to get up just a little earlier to get back to the MTC for our classes.

Many Beautiful Paintings Like This Adorn the Walls!
The teachers and leaders were very special to us, and it was like drinking from a fire hose.

We Will Emulate Samuel Smith and GO!
We felt like we were 2 days behind after the first day, and we never did catch up.

There It Is!  Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!  Here We Come!
Well, that was the first week.  Let's try to catch up on the Blog a little bit.
We love you all.
